The next step is to set the rules of the game. I will be playing on a procedural map generated by the default in-game engine. Then you can select this map in the game creation window and start playing. When the map is ready, put it into 7DTD’s worlds folder: “ %appdata%Roaming7 Days to DieGeneratedWorlds” (to get there, press Win + R on your keyboard, enter %appdata% and press Enter). Launch it and customize your world with dozens of options. If in-game map generation is not enough for you, try the KingGen World Generator. This may take several minutes, even with powerful computers. There you will find options to change the number of towns and POI (Points of Interest), redistributing biome sizes and others. In the “ Advanced Generation” tab, you can configure the map in more detail. If you want to play on the map generated by the in-game engine, select the “ New Random World” option and customize the map as you see fit.
